Backend Data Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses for user-facing features and analytics.
• Develop ETL ecosystem tools using Python, External APIs, Airbyte, Snowflake, dbt, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon S3.
• Define automated solutions to solve complex data problems.
• Assist the engineering team with database design and data flows.
• Develop engineering best practices, documentation, and process flows.
• Work independently and collaboratively with teams.
• Manage high volumes of real estate data.
• Contribute to data architecture decisions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Engineer.
• Expert-level understanding of SQL-based database design and usage.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
• Professional experience in high-volume ETL systems.
• Effective communication skills.
