Overview

Virta is an online specialty medical clinic that reverses type 2 diabetes safely and sustainably without the risks, costs, or side effects of medications or surgery. We also treat patients with pre-diabetes and obesity. Our innovations in the application of nutritional biochemistry, data science, and digital tools--combined with our clinical expertise--are shifting the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to reversal.

In Short

• Conduct clinical intake visits with prospective patients via video and/or phone.
• Educate patients about Virta and help them prepare for their treatment journey.
• Provide clinical support for a team of providers (MDs and NPs).
• Split work time between telemedicine visits and providers support activities.
• Commit to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor of Nursing degree.
• Active RN license in a Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Eligible for nursing licensure in every U.S. state.
• Minimum of two years experience with diabetes patients.
• Knowledge of diabetes care and low carbohydrate nutrition.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Team player with a commitment to patient care.
