Overview

Vimeo’s Customer Support team is searching for a hardworking, technical, passionate, and analytical independent contributor to join our API Developer Support efforts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for inspiring others to do their best work through clarity of processes and execution.

In Short

  • Focus on our API product area to handle and resolve escalated issues.
  • Review customers' API setup issues and implementation of Vimeo SDKs.
  • Provide feedback and assist junior support roles.
  • Respond to customers promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor reported issues and own them from troubleshooting to closure.
  • Assist in documenting troubleshooting procedures.
  • Run point on outages and update the public-facing status page.
  • Collaborate with the Knowledge Management team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a support/customer service role.
  • Expert technical skills with APIs and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Experience with RESTful web services and API tools.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Mac Command line.
  • Ability to read PHP and/or JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to support customers in a 24/7 environment.
