Sr. Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

Vimeo is seeking an experienced Sr. Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our global collections team working remotely within the U.S. The Collections Specialist will manage their accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices for B2B transactions while maintaining positive relationships with Vimeo customers.

In Short

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and address any concerns effectively.
• Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, reduce overdue balances, and achieve collection targets.
• Proactively contact clients via phone and email to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
• Manage workload and complete assigned duties within given timelines.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances.
• Maintain accurate records of payment arrangements and collection activities.
• Create and maintain tasks to ensure timely follow up with customers regarding payment or promises to pay.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all collections activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of collections experience, specifically in B2B transactions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional investigative skills, with the ability to provide sound judgement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Effective at working in a team environment while managing individual priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce and Zuora a plus.
