Overview

As a Principal Researcher at Vimeo, you will work collaboratively with team members across the organization to implement research initiatives that develop deep customer empathy and understanding, impacting Vimeo's business.

• Manage and conduct UX research across all aspects of the Vimeo platform.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights for the Vimeo roadmap.
• Streamline research operations across all research activities.
• Lead recruitment efforts and moderation for in-house sessions.
• Contribute to Vimeo’s Research Toolkit.
• Drive innovation in primary research data collection.
• Develop reporting and dashboards with various data sets.
• Collaborate with the Analytics & Testing team to integrate research findings.
• Mentor the team and lift key business metrics.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in consumer insights and market research.
• Experience with survey programming software like Decipher, Qualtrics, etc.
• Familiarity with UserTesting.com and SPSS is a plus.
• Strong in Excel and G-Suite Slides, Keynote.
• Experience creating data visualizations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with product and engineering teams for usability research.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
