Overview

VetsEZ is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) project focused on VistA network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with other IT team technical engineers, maintain accurate network diagrams, and effectively communicate network architecture and status to the client as needed.

In Short

  • Design, implement, and maintain the VistA network infrastructure.
  • Interface and collaborate with other technical engineers and cross-functional IT teams.
  • Develop, update, and manage network diagrams and related documentation.
  • Present network designs and status updates to the client.
  • Apply SAFe/Agile principles to network engineering tasks.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Support compliance with government security standards.
  • Take on additional tasks to support team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer for government IT contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of network design and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining network diagrams.
  • Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
