Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a remote Network Engineer at Velaspan, you will play a hands-on role in deploying enterprise-level wired and wireless networks for clients across various industries.

In Short

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, WLAN).
• Perform large wireless deployments in enterprise environments.
• Support Cisco ISE and network access control policy platforms.
• Document network configurations and operational procedures.
• Participate in clients’ change control procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Cisco or similar networking technologies.
• Basic understanding of core networking concepts: IPAM, VLANs, STP, routing protocols.
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS and AireOS platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot layer 1–3 network issues.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
