Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Network Engineer plays a pivotal role in evaluating, maintaining, and improving our global internal network. You’ll work hands-on with advanced networking hardware and software, monitor performance, troubleshoot complex challenges, and design scalable solutions to meet the needs of our growing infrastructure.

In Short

• Design and implement network solutions across routing, switching, wireless, ACLs, and VPNs.
• Maintain and monitor the stability, performance, and security of the network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity and security issues.
• Identify, prioritize, and mitigate security-related risks.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on infrastructure projects.
• Create and maintain documentation and mentor teammates.
• Support incident management and service restoration.
• Travel occasionally to datacenters for project support.
• Work in a high-uptime environment.

Requirements

• Juniper/JunOS experience.
• Cisco and Palo Alto experience is a strong plus.
• 4+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in networking.
• Advanced understanding of networking protocols, devices, and services.
• Strong Linux and LAMP stack familiarity.
• Hands-on firewall experience (iptables, etc.).
• Solid troubleshooting skills and escalation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications: CCNA, JNCIA, RHCSA, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for occasional datacenter travel).
