HealthShare Integration Engineer - Remote

Overview

VetsEZ is seeking a HealthShare Integration Engineer to join our remote team supporting large federal healthcare technology initiatives. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong experience supporting InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS environments within enterprise healthcare systems.

In Short

• Support and maintain InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS production environments.
• Provide strategies and solutions for automating operations and improving software delivery methodologies.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Perform backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integration activities.
• Manage certificates and coordinate updates across environments.
• Provide Tier 3 operational support for HealthShare applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain InterSystems HealthShare software.
• Support OAuth and Single Sign-On configuration efforts.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Splunk and AWS CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot integration issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT and/or Federal Government contracting.
• 2+ years of experience with production systems.
• Hands-on experience with InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS.
• Experience automating infrastructure using Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Unix/Linux administration and middleware configuration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
