Integration Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Integration Engineer is responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining robust integration workflows using n8n (and similar iPaaS/automation platforms) to connect AHEAD's platforms to vendor, customer, and OEM systems.

In Short

• Design, develop, and deploy n8n workflows to connect to various APIs and data sources.
• Monitor existing integrations for errors or performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data schemas and API contracts.
• Contribute to overall automation strategy by evaluating new technologies.
• Gather detailed integration requirements and map out data flows.
• Participate in regular code and workflow reviews.
• Implement monitoring dashboards and alerts for integration failures.
• Serve as primary escalation point for integration-related incidents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development or systems integration.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with an iPaaS or workflow automation platform.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and comfortable writing custom code.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, OAuth/OAuth2, and GraphQL.
• Understanding of data retrieval, transformation, and secure authentication methods.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage project tasks and meet deadlines.
