Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Network Engineer is responsible for understanding both business and technical requirements to develop design specifications for operating, network, or infrastructure systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

In Short

• Develop engineering designs to support business and operational requirements.
• Configure, maintain, and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
• Provide support for network connectivity issues.
• Participate in client projects to improve network infrastructures.
• Analyze network activity to prevent errors and enhance performance.
• Document procedures and maintain network diagrams.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop guides.
• Coordinate with vendors as required.
• Participate in on-call Tier 3 production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5-7 years of experience.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 5+ years experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN.
• Proficient in Eigrp, BGP, HSRP, and VPN protocols.
• 2+ years experience in load balancing technologies.
• Strong understanding of WAN technologies.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
