Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Business Analyst performs professional duties related to the review, assessment, and development of automated business processes. The Business Analyst will analyze and translate operation requirements into system deployments and business process changes. They act as a change agent to help facilitate effective process re-engineering. After determining scope and optimum solution, the Business Analyst will develop seamless solutions delivered to operations and our clients on time, within budget and within scope.

In Short

• Defines and documents business functions and processes.
• Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives.
• Acts as a liaison between end-users, technical analysts, and IT developers.
• Plans and conducts business process re-engineering/improvement projects.
• Designs new programs and processes by analyzing data and writing business requirements.
• Improves systems and processes by studying current practices.
• Prepares technical reports by collecting and analyzing information.
• Defines scope by identifying optimum solutions with contingency plans.
• Transfers necessary business view to IT developers.
• Documents automated processes and modifications.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in project management or business operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
