Senior Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will lead a team in testing applications for Verra Mobility's Commercial Services customers, enhancing the QA competency through collaboration and technical expertise.

In Short

• Lead quality assurance team members in various testing tasks and projects.
• Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts using C# and Selenium or Playwright.
• Analyze failures and successes of automated scripts, making modifications as needed.
• Design detailed test cases from requirement specifications.
• Test new applications and conduct repeatable testing for existing products.
• Ensure quality assurance milestones are met on time.
• Secure product releases meet defined quality goals.
• Participate in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Document test cases and defects.
• Perform various types of testing including functional and regression testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance software testing.
• 5+ years of experience with C# or Java for automated tests.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• 5+ years of experience writing test cases and plans.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Selenium, Playwright, and SQL tools.
• Ability to conduct various testing types including API testing.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
