Overview

This is a full-time, staff level software engineering role where you will work as a technical lead and individual contributor on our Payments team, focusing on building and improving our online payments platform.

In Short

• Work on the Payments team as a technical lead and individual contributor.
• Focus on building and improving the online payments platform, VC Pay.
• Support payment integrations with other products within Veracross.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for other engineers.
• Develop features using Ruby on Rails, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Own technical architecture discussions for the payments product area.
• Collaborate with other technical leaders across teams.
• Expand internal tools to automate and improve workflows.
• Write and improve documentation for FinTech systems and tools.
• Integrate with third-party systems used by private K-12 schools.

Requirements

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience in technical leadership and mentorship.
