Senior Technical Product Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Technical Product Manager at Veracode will play a crucial role in bridging customer needs with the engineering team, focusing on Agile development processes and ensuring a strong user experience.

In Short

• Serve as the voice of the customer and stakeholder proxy to the Engineering team.
• Decompose Epics and Features into actionable user stories.
• Define and prioritize a detailed product backlog.
• Work closely with stakeholders to enhance internal and external workflows.
• Build feedback loops between Agile teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze data to recommend product changes.
• Define acceptance and success criteria for the team backlog.
• Collaborate with senior Product Managers on product strategy.
• Advocate for the customer during trade-offs and prioritization.
• Demonstrate empathy in communication with colleagues and customers.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager.
• Hands-on experience with commercial software for developers.
• Technical knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development processes.
• Ability to make prioritization decisions and communicate effectively.
• Experience mentoring other Product Owners.
• Preference for Certified Scrum Product Owners.
• Experience in application security or software testing workflows.
