Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

Venesco is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect. This individual will serve as the Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the DEA’s Concorde enterprise platform, driving modernization, architectural design, and technical leadership across all software development efforts.

• Serve as Technical Lead and System Architect for the Concorde Framework.
• Lead technical planning meetings and mentor team leads.
• Oversee development teams to ensure adherence to methodologies and security practices.
• Architect solutions for enterprise-scale systems.
• Drive modernization efforts including cloud migration and DevSecOps adoption.
• Ensure compliance with federal security standards.
• Lead technical briefings for DEA senior leadership.
• Support disaster recovery planning and implementation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field required; advanced degree/certifications preferred.
• Experience:
  • 16+ years in software development.
  • 16+ years in web application development.
  • 10+ years supporting and architecting enterprise-scale development platforms.
  • 6+ years with .NET MVC, plus 2+ years with .NET Core/.NET Standard.
  • 6+ years using Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven experience architecting enterprise systems.
  • Experience with disaster recovery.
  • Demonstrated expertise with DevSecOps, cloud integration, APIs, and microservices.
• Security & Suitability: Active SECRET clearance required.
