Overview

The senior professional services engineer will provide professional services support for our clients. This role will help design, implement, and transition to support project-based initiatives for clients, including existing infrastructure and deployment of new technology for Azure, and Microsoft365 environments, as well as Veeam, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, virtualization, and storage environments. This role will have a focus on cloud technologies.

In Short

  • Best practice implementation, deployment, and upgrade of client’s cloud and infrastructure environment
  • Interact with clients and lead discussions to identify project issues, troubleshoot expediently, and follow up on issues via e-mail, ticketing system, and phone calls.
  • Experience with multiple simultaneous complex projects with minimal supervision or guidance, and report project status on a weekly basis.
  • Install, configure, and administer Azure, O365, and Veeam, and other cloud-based systems to improve client’s infrastructure
  • Configuration and tuning of cloud-based tools, managing cost, security, and compliance configuration for the client’s environments
  • Create updated documentation for each client’s environment
  • Experience working with cloud networking and cloud end user technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical field preferred
  • Certifications in infrastructure technologies (Azure, AWS, Microsoft, etc.) preferred
  • 8 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with other public cloud environments, like Azure, AWS, and virtualization technologies is a plus
  • Strong ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
  • Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
