Overview

The Contract and Claims Manager will oversee contract, commercial, and claims activities in the engineering and construction industry for a mega rail project in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance and effective management of client contracts.

In Short

• Manage and administer Client Contracts.
• Review and assess payment applications from contractors.
• Maintain a correspondence log for contract communications.
• Establish a database for insurance policies and securities.
• Analyze contract variations and claims for resolution.
• Support the Client in arbitration or dispute resolution.
• Draft and manage Change Management Plans.
• Coordinate with insurance advisers and brokers.
• Prepare documents for change requests.
• Work autonomously and manage project change requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying.
• 15+ years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Proven experience in contract variations and claims analysis.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience in commercial management.
• Experience in infrastructure projects preferred.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts.
• UAE and UK experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Chartered status is an advantage.
