GL Team Leader - Remote

Overview

The GL Team Leader will oversee the General Ledger process for North America, ensuring timely and quality management of financial reporting and team leadership.

• Supervision of General Ledger process for North America
• Management of month close process on time and good quality
• Preparation of Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
• Overseeing Payroll process, cash management, and treasury duties
• Preparation of supporting information for annual audit
• Implementation of accounting procedures
• Production of monthly US GAAP financial reports
• Management of short-term cash flow forecasts
• Cost and revenue controlling
• Managing a team of experienced accountants

Requirements

• University degree in Controlling, Finance, or Accounting
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Controlling/Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in team management
• Experience with General Ledger processes
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and US GAAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with reporting systems like SAP
• Strong core business skills including influencing and stakeholder management
• Ability to challenge status quo and act as an agent of change
• Project management skills
