Overview

Valimail is seeking a hands-on engineering manager to lead our customer-facing web application team, managing engineers working in Ruby on Rails to enhance our products.

In Short

• Lead and manage a team of 4-5 engineers.
• Drive team priorities and advocate for technical improvements.
• Engage in hands-on software development (10-80% of the time).
• Partner with Product and Design to drive business growth.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
• Work with QA and SRE to deliver high-quality software.
• Offer high-level estimations to stakeholders when needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience leading an engineering team.
• 1+ years of experience managing 3+ engineers.
• 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience in Agile development methodology.
• Strong self-motivation and adaptability.
