In Short

• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating all contracts.
• Manage employee contracts, disputes, and HR legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and local data privacy laws.
• Develop and implement data protection policies.
• Manage IP portfolios and registration processes.
• Provide legal advice on renewals, requirements, and disputes.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors.
• Implement legal technology solutions.
• Train and mentor employees on legal processes.
• Oversee the legal department’s budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law and admitted to practice in Indian Bar.
• 5-10 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Knowledge of intellectual property and data privacy laws.
• Experience working with laws in the APAC region.
• Excellent negotiating and drafting skills.
• Strong professional relationship-building skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
