OSP Permit Specialist I - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an OSP Permit Specialist I to join our Engineering Department and assist with managing and coordinating various aspects of the permitting process for telecommunications infrastructure projects across the U.S.

In Short

• Research permitting policies, GIS data, and contacts.
• Coordinate with agencies to complete required questionnaires.
• Coordinate meetings with internal teams and town planners.
• Submit Joint Use pole applications with specifications.
• Submit Right-of-Way (ROW) permits to DOT and other authorities.
• Track and manage permit submittals, approvals, and communications.
• Monitor jurisdictional portals for updates.
• Track permit statuses, expiration dates, and IDs.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and permitting jurisdictions.
• Install and maintain WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook for communication.

Requirements

• Experience with permitting processes in telecommunications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GIS data and project management tools.
• Effective communication skills.
