Overview

As the Senior Engineering Manager at Upstart on the Capital Insights team, you will lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting systems that support our capital markets and lending operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred experience in capital markets or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting standards.
