Overview

As the Product Manager - Identity Platform at Upstart, you will blend strategic vision, technical expertise, and a user-centric mindset to drive seamless, secure, and scalable identity solutions.

In Short

• Define and champion the IAM roadmap that balances security, user experience, and business needs.
• Anticipate future trends in authentication, Authorization, privacy, and decentralized identity.
• Reduce friction in login, registration, and recovery flows.
• Own APIs and SDKs for authentication and authorization.
• Advocate for user control over identity and access.
• Act as the bridge between engineering, security, design, and business teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in identity, authentication, authorization products.
• Proven track record of building and scaling platform-level products.
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols and security best practices.
• Ability to balance security and usability.
• Strong ability to influence and communicate with senior leadership.
• Ability to align identity investments with business growth.
