Overview

The Coding Specialist II at the University of Maryland Medical System is responsible for ensuring accurate coding of medical records for billing purposes, particularly in surgical practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Certification as a CPC or CCS-P required.
• Three years’ experience in production coding in a surgical setting required.
• Outpatient professional fee revenue cycle management experience preferred.
