Assistant Process and Equipment Engineer - Remote

Overview

The PME's Pritzker Nanofabrication Facility (PNF) is looking for a qualified, experienced Cleanroom Process and Equipment Engineer to help manage a suite of specialized tools that enable fabrication of complex, integrated electronic, mechanical, optical, and fluidic structures.

In Short

• Manage specialized tools for fabricating complex structures.
• Train users on lithographic processes and cleanroom protocols.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on tools.
• Support process development activities.
• Interface with students, scientists, and engineers.
• Use semiconductor metrology tools.
• Conduct experimental testing and collect operating data.
• Work in a cleanroom environment.
• Assist with new equipment installations and acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in basic sciences or engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in related job discipline.
• Knowledge of lithographic processes and semiconductor processing.
• Experience with vacuum equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in analyzing tool performance.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with hazardous chemicals.
