Overview

The Equipment Engineer will support commercial manufacturing with a focus on Vial filling equipment in a GMP regulated environment, reporting to the Principal Engineer.

In Short

  • Ownership of equipment/systems in a GMP regulated manufacturing setting.
  • Support Drug Product manufacturing within the Vial Filling area.
  • Lead system improvements and development of engineering documents.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Support new product introductions and technology assessments.
  • Manage change control requests and ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations.
  • Engage in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-based culture.
  • Travel may be required to support project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
  • Manufacturing experience in biopharmaceutical facilities.
  • Strong leadership, technical writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with change control and validation practices.
  • Ability to develop strategies for new product introduction.
  • Skilled in project management and problem-solving.
  • Independent, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Team player with collaborative decision-making skills.
