Overview

We are searching for a Process Equipment Design Engineer to join our fuel recycling engineering team at Oklo, responsible for designing and prototyping production-scale remotely-operated electrochemical molten salt process equipment.

In Short

• Conduct design, prototyping, and iterative refinement of process equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for facility design and engineering.
• Define process equipment architecture and specifications.
• Benchmark lab and engineering-scale equipment design.
• Design and operate prototypes for iterative refinement.
• Generate documentation for equipment fabrication and maintenance.
• Serve as technical lead through multiple lifecycle stages.
• Document work using modern tools and compose technical reports.

Requirements

• Engineering education in Mechanical, Materials, Petroleum, Aerospace, or Chemical.
• Experience in design or modification engineering on process equipment.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Strong systems engineering intuition.
