The Pharmacist I PRN in the Cancer Institute Pharmacy ensures the safe, accurate and appropriate use of medications, by evaluating orders for dosing, allergies, and contraindications.

• Ensure safe and appropriate use of medications.
• Oversee and direct the work of pharmacy technicians and students.
• Prepare and dispense oral and injectable medications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• 1 year of experience as a pharmacist or pharmacy intern.
• Pharmacy technician license through the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Proficiency in electronic health records.
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and practices.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile compounding.
• Preferred: Pharm.D. and 2 years of relevant experience.
