Overview

The Pharmacist I works under minimal supervision to assess, prepare, dispense and assist in coordinating all day-to-day dispensing functions of the pharmacy in a timely and accurate manner. The pharmacist will use their knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment through reviewing orders to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.

Requirements

  • BS or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited college.
  • 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in retail or hospital setting.
  • Certification as a licensed Registered Pharmacist in Arkansas or eligible for licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Experience in medication management and counseling.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations.
  • Willingness to complete tasks and assist colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient care and safety.
