Overview

The Cook at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is responsible for preparing a wide range of foods for Patient Food Service, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality meal preparation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in institutional cooking.
• Formal Culinary Education preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

• Strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform cooking tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
