Overview

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Business Systems Specialist is responsible for managing, coordinating, training, and supporting systems related to GME under the UAMS College of Medicine GME.

In Short

• Primary point of contact for GME residency management system.
• Expert knowledge of ACGME requirements and residency management software.
• Develops and manages training for new program directors and coordinators.
• Ensures compliance with ACGME standards through data management.
• Provides technical support for GME-related projects.
• Maintains and updates the GME SharePoint site.
• Coordinates annual monitoring of work hours for GME programs.
• Develops and manages online forms for GME website.
• Supports GME meetings with online systems.
• Serves as the Institutional Administrator for NRMP Match Process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of program coordination or administrative experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree and three years of GME management experience.
• Knowledge of ACGME policies and procedures.
• Experience with residency management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
