APRN/PA in Women's Health - Remote

Overview

The APRN/PA will extend patient care and administrative services for the UAMS Women and Infants Service Line, focusing on comprehensive health assessments and collaborative management of women's health issues.

In Short

• Provide comprehensive health assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Deliver prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Engage in telehealth consultations.
• Manage health issues independently and collaboratively.
• Support laboring patients and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct newborn assessments and manage neonatal conditions.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree and two years of nursing experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas; APRN/CPN License, or PA with State Medical Board.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to operate typical nursing equipment.
• Normal communication sensory requirements.
• Comply with CDC Universal Precautions.
• Preferred experience in endocrine or women’s health.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA license after hire.
