Overview

As a Loan Processor or Senior Loan Processor, you will evaluate mortgage loan applications, verify information, and act as a liaison between various stakeholders in the loan process.

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications and verify information.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and federal housing programs.
• Update loan application information in software.
• Order necessary documents for loan approval.
• Verify data, analyze guidelines, and ensure compliance.
• Calculate income and review assets and liabilities.
• Monitor rate lock information for accuracy.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the loan process.
• Assist in training other processors.
• Prepare adverse action letters if necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of mortgage banking experience.
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and FHA/VA guidelines.
• Experience with Encompass or other loan origination systems.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability.
• Ability to interact effectively with others.
