IT System Technician - Remote

Overview

The IT System Technician position offers an opportunity to work with a global company in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, focusing on data security, application protection, and ICT infrastructure projects.

In Short

• Secure and restore data, configurations, and applications.
• Protect applications and data from unauthorized access and manipulation.
• Monitor licenses and installation media.
• Plan and accompany exciting ICT infrastructure projects.
• Develop the latest infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Support customers with complex issues.
• Operate on-premise and cloud infrastructures (Microsoft, VMware).
• Document projects and solutions.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a degree in computer science.
• At least 3 years of experience with Windows environments, networks, and virtualized systems.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and cloud computing.
• Preferred: VMware certifications, CISCO certifications, Linux OS knowledge, IT service management experience (ITIL).
• Communicative and customer-oriented personality.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
