In Short

  • Collaborate with faculty members and academic leadership to develop and deliver training programs that support the successful delivery and implementation of the curriculum for nursing programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty members in understanding and effectively delivering course content, assignments, and assessments in accordance with program objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance faculty members' knowledge and skills as they relate to nursing curriculum and student success.
  • Partner with various departments including instructional design, faculty development, academics, etc. to provide actionable feedback and work towards continuous improvement of the faculty and student experience.
  • Communicate areas of opportunity to academic leadership and collaborate on developing solutions/actions.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure the alignment of training materials with program goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in nursing education, online learning, and instructional technology.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring to faculty members, offering guidance and resources to promote student success and program excellence.
  • Conduct training on item analysis and assist faculty in identifying trends to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as nursing, education, instructional design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of previous experience in teaching or faculty support in higher education required.
  • Nursing background preferred.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) required.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical principles, instructional design models, and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to faculty members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members, academic administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Commitment to promoting excellence in teaching and learning and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
