Overview

We are seeking an Online General Education Instructor to join our team as an adjunct professor specializing in public speaking and communication. This role involves instructing students in various general education courses and enhancing the quality of education through innovative teaching methods.

In Short

• Teach general education courses in ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN programs.
• Develop and revise course materials and syllabi.
• Utilize innovative teaching methodologies to enhance instruction.
• Evaluate and communicate student progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with program data collection.
• Engage in professional development to stay current in the field.
• Participate in online faculty meetings and strategic initiatives.
• Commit to a diverse and inclusive teaching environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the program director.
• Utilize Learning Management System for course delivery.

Requirements

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred in Communications or related field.
• Experience mentoring students and strong communication skills.
• Previous online teaching experience is required.
• Background in educational methodology relevant to teaching assignments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
