Overview

The Sales Associate will foster partnerships with a prominent Higher Education customer, delivering results against complex business and technology initiatives.

• Collaborate with Higher Education customers.
• Full-time position based in the San Francisco/Bay Area.
• Responsible for selling products/services to a dedicated primary education account.
• Prospect and establish new customers within the account.
• Manage a sales territory and develop strategic account business plans.
• Build and sustain customer relationships.
• Provide quotations and handle customer returns/complaints.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Excellent communication and team interaction skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0-1 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred: Inside/Outside Sales Experience.
• Experience in Lab B2B or Distribution Sales.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Qlikview.
• Ability to handle difficult situations.
• Ability to carry on business conversations with decision makers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
