Overview

The Medical Scientific Liaison is a key position within Convatec's Medical Affairs function, focusing on the nitric oxide next-generation antimicrobial platform. This role involves engaging with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to provide scientific expertise and support educational initiatives.

• Lead national educational initiatives and present at conferences.
• Provide scientific expertise on CNAP technology.
• Develop relationships with healthcare professionals and clinical sites.
• Collect product performance feedback for R&D and commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards in scientific discussions.
• Participate in peer-to-peer educational exchanges and workshops.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights.
• Establish long-term relationships with national KOLs.
• Travel nationally and occasionally internationally for conferences.
• Adapt to new clinical areas through training.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in a medical scientific liaison role or clinical practice in wound care.
• Experience in presenting complex scientific data to KOLs/HCPs.
• Strong understanding of the medical device landscape.
• PhD, MSc, or similar higher degree in biological or biomedical sciences.
• Track record of scientific credibility through presentations/publications.
• Ability to gather insights and inform clinical practice.
• Experience in wound care, infection management, or related areas.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
