Interim Payroll Transition Project Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

Avantor is seeking a Payroll Transition Project Support Specialist for a 12-month interim assignment to assist with our Global Payroll Transition initiative. This is a fully remote role and can be based in either the UK or Ireland.

In Short

• Collaborate with the Global PMO for project documentation and delivery.
• Document and design future state requirements for payroll transition.
• Coordinate with local SMEs for data migration and setup.
• Support HRIS team with PECI development.
• Lead integration testing with comprehensive test scripts.
• Assist in project documentation and training materials.
• Support ongoing payroll operations post-transition.
• Ensure communication with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Flag risks and support project management.
• Assist in resolving issues during and after the transition.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in payroll administration or project management (min 4 years).
• Familiarity with Workday and external payroll vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot effectively.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance and HR processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
