Overview

The Regional Support Engineer will provide technical support to the Field Service team and act as a primary technical liaison between the business unit and the field, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and support for MI imaging systems.

In Short

  • Provide rapid technical support to Customer Service Engineers and Customers.
  • Conduct technical knowledge transfers to drive first-time-fix rates.
  • Develop and deliver technical service training courses.
  • Manage customer escalations and coordinate with Field Service teams.
  • Act as a technical interface for MI Business Unit.
  • Track and communicate serviceability issues.
  • Advise on installations and tooling for customer service.
  • Travel extensively throughout the US (75%) and internationally.
  • Work in a magnetic environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Commit to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Requirements

  • BSEE or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in servicing MI imaging systems.
  • Deep understanding of diagnostic MI in a clinical environment.
  • Field service/technical support experience in medical imaging.
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must not carry ferrous metals in designated work areas.
