Director of Business Analytics - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Director of Business Analytics (Finance & Ops) to lead a high-performing team of analysts that partners across Finance, Operations, and Risk & Trading to deliver insights that drive decision-making and business impact.

In Short

• Manage and grow a team of analysts supporting Finance, Ops, and Risk & Trading.
• Create clear roles and accountability structures for analysts.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand decision cycles.
• Define and enforce golden metrics for consistency across functions.
• Deliver self-serve dashboards and curated datasets.
• Provide timely analyses that influence financial planning and operational efficiency.
• Track record of establishing effective processes and prioritization frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills required, with experience in dbt and modern BI tools.
• Excited about enabling self-serve analytics through AI.
• Experience in high-growth consumer tech, fintech, or gaming industries is a plus.

Requirements

• 10+ years in analytics or related fields, with 4+ years managing teams.
• Skilled at influencing stakeholders and aligning analytics with business outcomes.
• Experience in defining and operationalizing company-wide metrics.
• History of scaling analytics organizations in fast-paced environments.
• Background in corporate finance, accounting, or risk management is a plus.
