Scientist, Product Development - Remote

Overview

This is a research-based technical development role providing direction for and execution of projects focused on innovation, renovation, and brand maintenance in the food industry.

In Short

• Develop and commercialize new products and renovate existing ones.
• Review and evaluate ingredients to deliver cost savings.
• Collaborate with Packaging R&D, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, Project Management, Marketing, and Sales.
• Lead technical projects including prototype development and factory trials.
• Conduct risk and feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate product tastings and sensory evaluations.
• Manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
• Eligible for performance-based bonus.

• Educational research & hands-on knowledge of consumer goods.
• Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
