Lume is on a mission to normalize body odor beyond the pits and provide people with outrageously effective solutions so they never have to think twice about odor! Our Whole Body Deodorants can be used for any unwanted odor—from pits, to privates and beyond. It’s doctor-developed, made with skin-safe ingredients that are gentle enough for the most sensitive parts and clinically proven to control any external B.O. for 72 hours. In 2023, we launched a men’s line called Mando. Mando uses the same technology as Lume but has different scent profiles.

In Short

• Own the R&D process with contract manufacturers.
• Provide support in tech transfers and quality standards.
• Work on formulas in a lab setting.
• Be an internal expert on formula-related questions.
• Work with fragrance houses to develop new scents.
• Support supply chain and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate clinical testing studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 3+ years in a product development role.
• Technical experience in personal care product formulation.
• Experience working independently in a lab.
• Good communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and process-oriented.
• Adaptable and resilient.
