Principal Product Development Engineer/Scientist - Remote

Overview

The Kymanox Product Development team is seeking experienced Product Development Engineer or Scientist with a strong technical and/or operations backgrounds in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industries. This position is hybrid with the expectation on being onsite 3-days a week onsite.

• Utilizes expertise in technical leadership and program management to advance client product development projects.
• Represents Kymanox to clients as a subject matter expert and thought leader.
• Provides technical leadership, expertise, and direction to internal and external project teams.
• Mentors junior staff.
• Ensures compliance to internal and client quality and regulatory standards.
• Evaluates client technical documentation and development strategy.
• Develops detailed project plans and schedules.
• Oversees client testing activities.
• Manages technically complex, multi-year development programs.
• Creates technical documentation supporting product development efforts.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in natural sciences or engineering.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in product development and/or manufacturing.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sectors.
• Leadership of complex development programs is desirable.
• Experience with startup companies is favorable.
• Strong professional presence and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with remote team members.
• Ability to motivate self and others.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
