Overview

The Access and Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a remote field-based role responsible for providing education on access and reimbursement topics to healthcare providers, ensuring patient access to products, and acting as a market access expert.

In Short

• Provide education on access and reimbursement topics to defined accounts.
• Serve as the key contact for access and reimbursement support matters.
• Analyze access and reimbursement issues and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
• Maintain expertise in payer policies and reimbursement processes.
• Proactively communicate changes in the healthcare landscape.
• Handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) in compliance with HIPAA.
• Travel up to 50% within the designated territory.
• Conduct face-to-face education with providers and staff.
• Support patient access through NVS-sponsored programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in reimbursement or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy products.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Managed Care policies.
• Prior account management experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze problems and offer solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of patient privacy laws.
• Valid driver's license required.
