Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional service to customers and assisting them with their needs while ensuring equipment is properly maintained.

In Short

  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services.
  • Use smartphone technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot.
  • Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
  • Drive forklifts (certification provided).
  • Work in a moderate-risk environment requiring safety precautions.
  • Physical demands include moving equipment and remaining stationary.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to use technology for rental management.
  • Certification for propane filling and forklift operation provided.
  • Commitment to a healthy work environment.
  • Must not use nicotine products in certain states.
