Overview

The Remote Territory Development Manager will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities in the fencing and outdoor security solutions industry, focusing on driving growth and building a pipeline of sales opportunities.

In Short

  • Prospect for new business within your territory.
  • Identify new verticals to sell to and build them from scratch.
  • Promote product offerings through sales visits and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Sales Support teams.
  • Utilize CRM to track customer contacts.
  • Generate monthly operating reports for Business Development.
  • Investigate and identify competitors.
  • Document findings and recommend changes to management.
  • Act as a liaison with Project Managers and Quality.
  • Research product technology trends.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of outside sales/business development experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in fencing or perimeter security.
  • Experience identifying and developing new verticals required.
  • CRM software experience required.
