Senior Corporate Paralegal - Remote

Overview

Trupanion is seeking a highly self-motivated and talented senior corporate paralegal who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to our mission of helping loving, responsible pet owners budget and care for their pets.

In Short

• Be a vital part of the Corporate Legal team managing Trupanion’s worldwide subsidiaries.
• Lead maintenance for parent company and global subsidiaries, preparing board materials.
• Support securities law compliance and SEC reporting for public company filings.
• Assist with annual meeting processes and proxy statement preparation.
• Manage relationships with transfer agents and assist with strategic corporate transactions.
• Maintain corporate records and entity management database.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ paralegal experience, preferably in-house at a public company.
• Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certification preferred.
• Experience managing entities and preparing board materials.
• Working knowledge of securities reporting and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with corporate governance and insider trading policies.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Workiva/Wdesk.
