Overview

The Billing and Posting Resolution Advocate is responsible for overseeing claims production, billing, follow-up, collections, and compliance with third party payer regulations, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collection processes.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 3 years previous hospital billing experience.
• Working knowledge of insurance regulations and coding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work through issues to resolution.
• Preferred: 2 years Medicare hospital billing experience.
